VOLTA is a one take film theorizing the gaze in watching film. This film was specifically made for a graduate level film theory seminar at the Univ of Utah. At the moment, the music is being composed by Michael T Letts who is based out of Richmond, VA.
VOLTA specifically showcases how women and men are depicted on a cinematic screen in old and new formats. The one take dolly movement addresses the audience--theorizing that gazing is continuous.
It will soon debut the internet for a one day event in June 2016.
